M1 Communications - Keeping your workforce mobilised and in touch
The M1 Communications Pack works in conjunction with the base module and empowers all staff to log work requests into the M1 system from selected mobile devices. This approach removes the need to provide computer access for all staff and ensures a faster turnaround time for repairs and requests.
Fast-Track Repairs
Work requests can be sent to any supported mobile device ensuring faster completion and more efficient use of your resources. The requests can be sent to handheld devices such as pagers, portable radios, DECT phones, mobile/cell phones (via SMS), any email capable device, and even PDAs. Refer to the diagram on the right for a listing of supported devices.

Mobilised Workforce
Staff no longer require computer access to be assigned work which streamlines processes, improves turnaround times and promotes workforce efficiencies. Work Requests can be closed off via any PABX connected telephone – so as soon as issues are resolved the system is immediately updated.
Nothing Forgotten
By empowering staff to log the work requests when they are uncovered, they are addressed promptly and not overlooked or lost. All staff can submit the request as it happens instead of waiting until the end of their shift. This reduces the impact of many requests being submitted at the same time, provides a much faster response time and ensures nothing is forgotten.
The system tracks employee availability, skills and work areas. As soon as an employee is marked as available, work they are skilled to perform can be assigned to them within their area.
