Zane Knight
(BE)
Managing Director, Director - Technical Services
Zane founded Q2 Solutions in 1998 with a desire to provide best of breed managements systems
to the market. After having successfully launched the M1 (Maintenance One) product into the market,
Zane headed the development team to create the ConnX application in 2002.
Having been involved in all aspects of the software market, from concept to delivery and beyond, Zane
understands building relationships with clients are key to ensuring the on-going success of any business.
Today, with a network of highly talented team members and partners, Zane oversees all strategic partnerships and
releases for the ConnX and M1 products, as well as ensuring the strategic goals of the company are met.
Brent Knight
(BE Hons 1, MBA, AICD)
Director - Client Services
Joining the company in June 2005, Brent was charged with responsibility for implementation
and support services for the major contract of Asia Pacific hotel management system software.
In addition, due to his previous experience with client servicing in payroll and HR system, Brent
also assumed responsibility for distribution partner management in relation to ConnX including
service delivery management, ongoing education and all instructional design.
Brent has held a number of varied positions throughout his career including Site Engineer in the
engineering and construction industry then moving into the energy industry holding positions of
Production Engineer, Reservoir Engineer, Planning Engineer, and Commercial Advisor at a large multinational
company.
Completing his MBA in 2008, Brent has applied
his diversified industry and management experience, coupled with specific interest in software,
technology and strategic management for SMEs, to the operations of the company, resulting in
significant growth across all divisions.
Andrew Sweaney
(BCompSc, Monash University)
Team Leader - ConnX Development
Andrew brings more than 12 years professional software development experience from such
diverse areas as financial trading systems, tolling account management systems, subscription
television, manufacturing, booking systems and book-keeping , aerospace and defense, and
professional game engine development to the Q2 Solutions development team.
Throughout his career, Andrew has held a number of highly influential positions in subsidiary
companies of some of Australia's top ASX listed companies where he was responsible for the
development of large scale intranet and internet based systems. Andrew has a strong background
in object oriented development, database design and development, and holds a certificate in
Agile development methodologies.
With the experience that can only come from a combination of significant time in leadership
and management roles coupled with hands-on experience in the production of large, sophisticated
solutions, Andrew ensures that the software development methodologies, technologies, quality
control, and development standards in use at Q2 Solutions are at the forefront of the IT industry.
Marita Cecilio
(Bachelor of Science in Computer Science,
a Microsoft Certified Professional since 2003,
iGeneration Professional Certified for Building Web Documents with HTML)
ConnX Business Analyst
Marita is responsible in the enhancements of existing software solutions and internal processes.
Her tasks include identification
of opportunities for business improvements through gathering of user requirements, writing of business /
functional specifications and proposals, designing of prototypes and assisting in the product/software
quality assurance testing.
Prior to working for Q2 Solutions, Marita has worked as a technical resource
in-charge of developing code/applications, as a quality control support reviewing test plans, test cases
and test scripts, as systems analyst constructing and writing technical specifications, as a business
analyst in-charge of analyzing functionality and developing new ideas and strategies to increase
productivity, efficiency and profitability, and for the last 5 years before joining the company, as
a technical leader/project manager focused on ensuring total project delivery.
Packed with the knowledge she acquired through years of experience, she is one of the many talented
resources of the company working towards maintaining product excellence.
